¢ß¡GWhy it's necessary to adopt single point ground rather than ground network with lower resistance for the ground system of partial discharge measurement?
¢Ï¡GThis is because the signal measured by partial discharge is pC. If calculating according to the theory of capacitance charge and discharge, the voltage of this signal will be below mV. Generally speaking, uneven voltage will happen between ground network due to eyelet design. Under a voltage electric field, the difference in its voltage will affect the precision of partial discharge measurement. This is obvious especially in the test quality requiring for a very low discharge value. If adopting single point ground, all floating current will flow to the ground point, and that'll help enhance the precision of partial discharge measurement.

¢ß¡GThe copper foil was used and arranged in fan-shaped for the ground system of impulse voltage test in the past. Why should Hiportronics use copper mesh welding for their ground system?
¢Ï¡GThe purpose of copper foil fan-shaped arrangement is to create an even equivalent grounding. Hiprotronic's copper mesh welding method is based on the same principle. In the design of Hipotronics's copper mesh outlet, the coverage ability of electric filed has been fully taken into consideration. It will be more effective to get an even equivalent electric potential.

¢ß¡GRegarding Hiprotronics's 100HVT-A product, how to solve the problem out in case of no indication on the voltage meter when raising voltage?
¢Ï¡GPlease take the following steps for troubleshooting:
1¡¢Check if all wiring and circuits are connected correctly according to standard.
2¡¢Check if high voltage output indeed exists but without indication on the voltmeter(Condition A), or if high voltage output doesn't exist and results in no indication on the voltmeter(Condition B).
3¡¢(Condition A) High voltage output indeed exists but no indication on the voltmeter.
A-1. Check if VM RG58 A/U signal wire is O/C or S/C.
A-2. Use an oscilloscope to detect if there is any voltage signal from the voltage divider.
A-3. It can be judged that the voltage divider failed in case no voltage signal from the voltage divider.
A-4. If voltage signal from the voltage divider is detected, check the voltmeter and the voltage detection circuit board in its rear to see if O/C or S/C happen.
A-5. Contact Lamex International Company.
4¡¢(Condition B) High voltage output doesn't exist and results in no indication on the voltmeter.
B-1. Check H.V. ON button on the control panel to see if a sound of Relay action can be heard clearly when pushing the button.
B-2. If a sound of Relay action is heard, it means the problem lies in high voltage transformer.
B-3. If a sound of Relay action is not heard, please check the system as per the following steps:
- (1). Check if Inter Lock is connected well.
- (2). Check if Input Power is normal.
- (3). Check if Limited Switch is zeroed.
- (4). Check if Fuse is normal.
B-4. Contact Lamex International Company

¢ß¡GWhy should we use integrated testing system instead of net work analyzer?
¢Ï¡GBecause all the Data Cables such as LAN,USB,IEEE-1394 have to follow TIA/EIA specification for testing. If it measures by manual will take a long time. That's why the automatic measuring system came out.
